Fuel price hike: NLC gives FG two-week ultimatum

Nigeria Labour Congress, on Wednesday, gave the Federal Government two weeks ultimatum to reverse the hikes in electricity tariff and the fuel pump price or risk a nationwide civil unrest.

NLC made the threat at the end of its Central Working Committee meeting a few minutes ago.

The union, in a communiqué read by its President, Ayuba Wabba, said the ultimatum takes immediate effect.

It threatened to mobilise its members across the country for protest after September 28.
