Trump Warns of Massive U.S. Retaliation If Iran Strikes

President Donald Trump on Sunday issued a stern warning to Iran, vowing that any attack on the United States would be met with the “full strength” of the American military.

Trump, speaking via his Truth Social platform, emphasized that the U.S. had no involvement in Israel’s recent strikes on Iran’s nuclear and intelligence facilities, which reportedly killed dozens, including high-ranking military officers and scientists.

“If we are attacked in any way, shape, or form by Iran, the full strength and might of the U.S. Armed Forces will come down on you at levels never seen before,” Trump warned.

The escalation comes after Israel launched a preemptive strike on Tehran’s strategic assets on Friday. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed to continue targeting what he described as Iran’s “terror infrastructure,” asserting that every element of the regime remains within Israel’s reach.

In retaliation, Iran unleashed a wave of missile attacks, heightening fears of a broader conflict in the region.

Although Trump admitted he had prior knowledge of the Israeli operation, he insisted the U.S. had no hand in its execution. Still, he left the door open for diplomacy.

“We can easily get a deal done between Iran and Israel, and end this bloody conflict,” Trump stated, suggesting that peace was achievable despite rising tensions.

The former president, who withdrew the U.S. from the Iran nuclear deal in 2018, has consistently taken a hardline stance on Tehran, reimposing heavy sanctions and dismantling the Obama-era accord.

Trump’s comments add a new layer to the already volatile Middle East crisis, as Washington tries to distance itself from direct involvement while affirming its readiness to defend its interests.
