2026 UTME: JAMB Directs Candidates To Print Exam Slip

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has opened its portal for candidates to print their examination slips for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination.

In a statement issued on Thursday, the board directed all registered candidates to access its official website to download the slips ahead of the examination.

It emphasised that the document contains essential details required for participation in the test.

“Examination Slip Printing is now available. The slip contains details of the venue, date and time of your examination and gives you access to the examination hall,” the board said.

Candidates are required to log on to jamb.gov.ng and select the “2026 Slip Printing” option to obtain their slips.

The announcement follows the board’s rebuttal of a widely circulated false notice suggesting that the examination had been postponed. JAMB described the claim as “malicious and fake” and advised candidates to ignore it.

The 2026 UTME is slated to take place between Thursday, April 16, and Saturday, April 25, 2026.

Earlier, the board conducted a mock examination on Saturday, March 28, which experienced technical glitches in some Computer-Based Test centres.

Out of the 224,597 candidates who registered for the mock exercise, 152,586 successfully participated across 989 centres nationwide.

JAMB also revealed that more than 20 centres were removed from the system due to technical shortcomings.

Additionally, the board cautioned candidates against engaging with fraudsters, particularly on WhatsApp, who claim they can manipulate scores.

It described such activities as “false and criminal,” warning that anyone found culpable risks having their registration cancelled or their results withheld.
