68 Kano Inmates Ace 2025 NECO Exam

The Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS), Kano Command, has disclosed that 68 inmates recorded success in the 2025 Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) conducted by NECO.

Inmates who scaled through the exam described the feat as “life-changing,” stressing that it offers them a path to rebuild their lives and nurture hope for the future.

According to the Correctional Service, the breakthrough was achieved with the backing of the Kano State Government, which funded the educational initiatives within the facility.

“This initiative is in line with the Nigerian Correctional Service Act of 2019, which focuses on reformation and rehabilitation of inmates through education and vocational training,” the Service explained.
