Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, Hakeem Odumosu, has set in motion mechanisms to harness all available resources to solidify policing structure in the state.
The state police boss reiterated his plans on better policing of Lagos while receiving the Zonal Manager, Nigerian Postal Service, Lagos Zone, Dr Mike Umo,in his Ikeja office on Wednesday, a statement by the state Police Public Relations Officer, Superintendent Muyiwa Adejobi, said.
The NIPOST zonal manager, in company with his team, including the Deputy Zonal Manager, Corporate Communications, Mrs Bolanle Ekeogu, introduced NIPOST’s plans and facilities that would assist police in intelligence gathering and crime fighting within and beyond the state.
While assuring the NIPOST zonal manager and his entourage of adequate security of their facilities across the 13 (thirteen) districts of NIPOST in Lagos, CP Odumosu, promised to embrace any of their plans and other relevant ideologies that would promote robust intelligence-led and effective policing of Lagos State.
Also on Wednesday, the Lagos police commissioner had a private meeting with the 14(fourteen) Area Commanders in the state to brainstorm on the security network of the state.
