This game will be held on Wednesday behind closed doors at the Falcons’ base in Seville, Spain.
The friendly match is part of the final preparations for the Falcons before they depart Spain for the 2024 Olympics in Paris.
Nigeria has been drawn into Group C of the women’s football event at the Games, where they will face Spain, Japan, and Brazil. This marks Nigeria’s return to the tournament after a 16-year absence.
Canada, the defending champions of the women’s football event, secured their title after defeating Sweden in the final of the Tokyo Olympics.
The last encounter between Nigeria and Canada ended in a goalless draw at the 2023 Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.
Randy Waldrum, the Falcons’ head coach, and his team have been in Spain for a two-week training camp and are scheduled to head to France on July 18.
In Group C, Nigeria will play Brazil on July 25, Spain on July 28, and Japan on July 31.
