Super Eagles Striker Emmanuel Dennis Dropped from Nottingham Forest’s EPL Squad

Gifted Markson

Emmanuel Dennis, the 26-year-old Super Eagles striker, has been left out of Nottingham Forest’s 2024/25 English Premier League squad.

The decision, made by head coach Nuno Espirito Santo, came after Dennis was deemed surplus to requirements for the upcoming campaign.

Having struggled for consistent game time last season, Dennis now faces an uncertain future at the club. Rumors have swirled around a possible exit, but with no transfer materializing by the deadline, his situation remains in limbo.

If no deal is reached soon, the club and the Nigerian forward may mutually agree to terminate his contract, opening the door for Dennis to seek opportunities elsewhere.

It’s a hard time for the Super Eagles marksman, who had shown flashes of brilliance in his previous stints at Watford and Club Brugge, but has struggled to cement his place in Forest’s squad.

Despite the setback, fans and analysts alike are hopeful Dennis will bounce back.

“Come back stronger, son,” reads one fan’s social media post, reflecting the sentiment of many who believe Dennis still has much to offer in top-flight football.

For now, Dennis will need to regroup, whether at Nottingham Forest or elsewhere, as he looks to rediscover the form that made him a standout goal-poacher and key player for Nigeria’s national team.
