American rapper Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, fondly called Cardi B, has recently been hospitalized due to an undisclosed medical emergency.
Following the birth of her third child with her former husband, Offset, just last month, Cardi B shared with fans on social media that she’s been in the hospital for several days.
This health issue forced her to cancel her anticipated appearance at the One Music Fest.
While she hasn’t revealed the specifics of her condition, Cardi assured her followers that she’s focused on recovery and will return stronger than ever.
“I am so sad to share this news, but I’ve been in the hospital recovering from a medical emergency the last couple of days and I won’t be able to perform at One Music Fest. It breaks my heart that I won’t get to see my fans this weekend and I really wish I could be there. Bardi Gang-thank you for understanding and I’ll be back better and stronger soon. Don’t worry. Love y’all,” she wrote.
Recall that the mother of three recently shared that she is stepping away from alcohol, a decision prompted by her experience of getting drunk at her 32nd birthday celebration in New York.
