Nigerian Singer David Adeleke, better known as Davido, has extended his congratulations to Donald Trump on securing re-election as the 47th President of the United States.
He also expressed his sympathy to Vice President Kamala Harris following her loss in the presidential race.
Praising Harris as a resilient woman, Davido encouraged her to take pride in her achievements.
Via his X account, the singer shared, “Congratulations 47th POTUS @realDonaldTrump. But you @KamalaHarris should be proud! You did that! A solid woman.”
Earlier on Tuesday, the singer shared that he had cast his vote for the first time in a U.S. election.
Though born in Atlanta, he did not disclose which candidate he supported.
