Netanyahu Threatens ‘Gates of Hell’ in Gaza Over Hostage Standoff

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has issued a stark warning, vowing that “the gates of hell” will open in Gaza if Hamas fails to release all hostages still in captivity.

Speaking alongside U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio in Jerusalem, Netanyahu reinforced Israel’s commitment to eliminating Hamas’s influence in the region.

“We have a joint strategy, and while we cannot reveal every detail, one thing is certain: if our hostages are not freed, Gaza will face severe consequences,” he declared. “We will dismantle Hamas’s military operations and ensure they no longer govern Gaza.”

The U.S. has reiterated its unwavering support for Israel, with Rubio emphasizing that President Donald Trump’s vision for Gaza’s future involves bold and unprecedented steps.

Trump recently proposed transforming Gaza into a thriving coastal hub while relocating Palestinian residents to neighboring countries—an idea that has sparked global controversy.

While Rubio acknowledged that the plan has been met with resistance, he defended its intent. “The president is thinking beyond traditional approaches. Hamas cannot remain in control—it must be eradicated,” he said.

With tensions at an all-time high, the world watches closely as the crisis unfolds.
