Lawmakers in the Lagos State House of Assembly have expressed full support for Speaker Princess Mojisola Meranda by passing a vote of confidence in her leadership.
The motion was introduced during plenary on Monday, February 17, by Oladipo Ajomale, the representative for Oshodi/Isolo 2, who stated that Meranda was rightfully elected and remains the best person to lead the House at this moment.
Aro Moshood seconded the motion, and all 34 other lawmakers present gave their approval, solidifying their trust in the Speaker’s leadership.

Additionally, Assembly staff demonstrated their solidarity with Meranda, further reinforcing her position.
Following the vote, the House adjourned indefinitely.
