“I’m Under Attack!” — Mohbad’s Widow Accuses Naira Marley, Father-in-Law

Omowunmi Aloba, the widow of late Nigerian music star Mohbad, has made shocking allegations, claiming that her life and that of her one-year-old son, Liam, are in danger.

In an emotional interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, Omowunmi revealed that she receives death threats almost daily and lives in constant fear.

She further alleged that her late husband’s former boss, Naira Marley, and his associates had physically attacked her. But the threats don’t stop there—she also accused her father-in-law, Joseph Aloba, of trying to seize control of Mohbad’s properties while publicly disowning her son.

“We no longer feel safe. I literally get death threats almost every day in my DMs. It has really gotten to a point where it’s either I speak up or I die in silence,” she said.

“I have been attacked by Naira Marley and his cohorts. My father-in-law wants to control Mohbad’s properties, or he will go all out to destroy my life. This same man officiated my wedding and was the happiest. Now, he’s calling my son a bastard, saying Liam has bow legs and that they don’t have such in their family. He even claimed my husband wanted to throw my baby into the Third Mainland Bridge.”

Omowunmi’s explosive claims have reignited the controversy surrounding Mohbad’s tragic death in September 2023, which occurred shortly after he cut ties with Naira Marley’s Marlian Music.

His untimely demise sparked public outrage, with many pointing fingers at Naira Marley and his associate, Sam Larry, who were later arrested and arraigned on October 6, 2023. Though they pleaded not guilty and were eventually released, questions still linger over their involvement.

With Omowunmi now raising fresh alarms, many are asking: Who will protect Mohbad’s widow and son before it’s too late?
