Fire Ravages Gusau Central Market, Traders Count Losses

A raging fire has swept through a section of the Gusau Central Market in Zamfara State, leaving a trail of destruction and losses worth millions of naira.

The incident, which occurred on Sunday night, was first reported by security analyst Zagazola Makama.

According to eyewitness accounts, the fire broke out unexpectedly and quickly spread across multiple stalls, catching traders and local residents off guard.

Efforts to contain the inferno proved difficult, as flames engulfed goods and property at an alarming rate.

Many traders, devastated by the sudden turn of events, scrambled to salvage whatever they could from the blaze.

Some called for immediate intervention from the Zamfara State Fire Service, as parts of the market remained under threat.
