Renowned Nigerian politician and former presidential aide, Dr. Doyin Okupe, has passed away at the age of 72.
Okupe, a significant figure in Nigeria’s political landscape, reportedly breathed his last on Friday morning after a prolonged battle with an undisclosed illness, suspected to be cancer.
A seasoned strategist, Okupe was appointed as the Director-General of the Labour Party’s 2023 presidential campaign.
