Governor Siminalayi Fubara has invited members of the Rivers State House of Assembly led by Speaker Martin Amaewhule to a crucial meeting on Monday, March 10, 2025.
The invitation was contained in a letter issued on Sunday, March 9, by the Secretary to the State Government, Dr Tammy Danagogo, in Port Harcourt.
The letter, addressed to Amaewhule, was titled “Meeting Between the Governor of Rivers State and the Honourable Members of the Rivers State House of Assembly.”
According to Danagogo, the meeting follows Fubara’s receipt of the Certified True Copy of the Supreme Court judgment. Discussions will centre on providing a designated space for the lawmakers’ sittings, the presentation of the 2025 budget, and the payment of outstanding allowances, among other issues.
