Arsenal’s Premier League title ambitions took a major hit on Sunday night as they were held to a 1-1 draw against Manchester United at Old Trafford, leaving their championship fate hanging by a thread.
The Red Devils took the lead late in the first half, with captain Bruno Fernandes firing home in the 45+2 minute to put Manchester United ahead.
Despite Arsenal’s dominance in possession and attacking intent, they found it difficult to break down United’s defensive setup.
However, the Gunners eventually found their breakthrough in the 74th minute when Declan Rice capitalized on a loose ball to fire in the equalizer, keeping Arsenal’s hopes alive.

While Arsenal pushed for a winner in the closing stages, it was their goalkeeper David Raya who emerged as the hero, making crucial saves to deny Manchester United a late winner.
His reflex stops ensured Mikel Arteta’s side walked away with a point, but it may not be enough in their pursuit of the Premier League crown.
With this result, Arsenal now find themselves relying on other results to keep their title dreams alive, as the draw at Old Trafford leaves them trailing behind in the title race.
