Nigeria’s senior men’s national team, the Super Eagles, will commence preparations for their crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying match against Rwanda this Sunday.
The encounter is set to take place at the Amahoro Stadium in Kigali on Friday, March 21.
The squad, comprising invited players from various clubs around the world, will fly directly to Rwanda to join the training camp.
Head coach Eric Chelle has already announced a 39-man provisional squad for the fixture, which also includes the matchday six clash against Zimbabwe.
The Super Eagles will face the Warriors at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo on Tuesday, March 25.

Chelle is expected to trim the squad to 23 players before the end of the week as he looks to assemble his best team for the doubleheader.
The Super Eagles are yet to secure a victory in the qualifiers, having managed only three draws and one defeat in four matches.
They currently sit in fifth place in Group C with just three points, making the upcoming fixtures crucial in their quest for a World Cup berth.
With pressure mounting and the need to turn their fortunes around, all eyes will be on Chelle and his team as they seek a much-needed breakthrough.
