Daniel Bwala, Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Policy Communication, has expressed confidence that former Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, will eventually join the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Speaking on TVC News on Wednesday, Bwala claimed that the APC is steadily weakening the Labour Party by attracting its key members. Citing the recent defection of Valentine Ozigbo, he stated, “Even Peter Obi will join us.”
He also downplayed the significance of opposition figures aligning with the Social Democratic Party (SDP), predicting that internal disputes over leadership positions would ultimately destabilize any coalition against the APC.
“They will start fighting—who will be president, who will be vice president, and who will make key decisions?” he said, implying that such disagreements would prevent the opposition from posing a strong challenge to the ruling party.
