Tinubu to Address Nigerians on Rivers Crisis in National Broadcast

President Bola Tinubu will address the nation at 7 pm on Tuesday in a nationwide broadcast focusing on the situation in Rivers State.

This was disclosed in a statement by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.

The statement, titled “President Tinubu Broadcasts to the Nation,” was released on Tuesday.

According to Onanuga, the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) will air the broadcast live.

Additionally, all television and radio stations across the country have been urged to connect to the transmission.

The President’s address comes amid growing tensions in Rivers State, where a political crisis has been unfolding.

The broadcast is expected to provide clarity on the federal government’s stance and possible interventions in the matter.
