The former governor of Rivers State and Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has been conferred with an Honorary Doctorate in Law from the University of Calabar.
The ceremony was presided over by the university’s Chancellor, Emir Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero.

His spokesperson, Lere Olayinka, disclosed this in a post he shared on X handle on Saturday.
The caption read, “FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, being conferred with Honorary Doctorate in Law of the University of Calabar, by the University’s Chancellor, Emir Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero.”
