United States President Donald Trump has taken aim at the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) and National Public Radio (NPR), urging Congress to cut off their funding.
In a fiery post on his Truth Social platform, Trump lashed out at the two public broadcasters, accusing them of blatant bias and pushing a partisan agenda.
“NPR and PBS, two horrible and completely biased platforms (Networks!), should be DEFUNDED by Congress, IMMEDIATELY.
Republicans, don’t miss this opportunity to rid our Country of this giant SCAM, both being arms of the Radical Left Democrat Party,” he declared.

Trump’s attack follows a tense congressional hearing where lawmakers grilled NPR and PBS executives over their funding and editorial independence.
The House Oversight and Government Reform subcommittee hearing intensified Republican criticism of the networks, with Trump’s allies arguing that their news coverage leans too far left.
Meanwhile, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), under Trump’s administration, has also been scrutinizing NPR and PBS over their journalism and fundraising practices, adding to the pressure on the embattled broadcasters.
