A Nigerian man, identified as Bayo Jeje, has allegedly abandoned his wife after she delivered triplets in the Aribo Hospital in Ondo State.
First News correspondent learnt that Jeje, a Bricklayer, fled his home in Igbokoda when his wife, Iyanu Ehuwa Jeje, had the three identical baby boys.
He was also said to have ignored phone calls from his wife, whom he married for years.
The nursing mother lamented that her husband’s absence had left her and the children stranded in the hospital.
A Facebook user, Katie Nas, on Wednesday, shared photos of Iyanu and her newborn baby boys in the hospital.
According to Katie, some government functionaries had earlier visited her to render financial aid.

Katie’s post read, “Bricklayer on the run after his wife delivered triplets in Ondo A bricklayer, Bayo Jeje, is on the run. Why is he running? He is running because his wife, Iyanu Ehuwa Jeje delivered bouncing baby boys (triplets)
“It is obvious that the man is not financially stable to take care of the babies.”
