President Bola Tinubu held talks with Massad Boulos, Senior Advisor for Africa at the United States State Department, during a meeting in Paris, France.
The high-level meeting which took place on Thursday was disclosed by the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, in a post on his X handle on Friday, April 11.
According to Onanuga, the discussions centred on strengthening regional security and boosting economic cooperation across Africa.

“State Department Senior Advisor for Africa Massad Boulos met with President Tinubu on Thursday to discuss regional security including working together with partners to build a durable peace in eastern DRC.
“They also discussed expanding opportunities for economic cooperation throughout Africa,” Onanuga wrote.
He noted that the meeting reflected the deepening diplomatic engagement between Nigeria and the United States under Tinubu’s administration.
