Posters suggesting a presidential bid by Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala A. Mohammed, have appeared across the state capital, bearing the message: “Kaura for President 2027.”
The materials were seen in prominent locations such as roundabouts, electric poles, and signboards along major roads including Railway Road, Sabon Titin Karofi, and Kofar Dumi Street.
One of the youths hired for the poster campaign, Aminu Auwal, revealed that they were contracted by two politicians.

“We were directed to post the governor’s posters along major streets of Bauchi state. We started the work around 1am today and we are hoping to finish it today,” Auwal told Daily Trust.
He identified the individuals behind the exercise as Ya’u Ortega and Talolo.
As of now, there has been no official reaction from Governor Mohammed or his media team regarding the posters or the intent behind them.
