King Sunny Ade Refutes Disappearance Rumours, Blames Daughter

Legendary Juju musician, King Sunny Ade (KSA), has publicly refuted recent rumours circulating about his disappearance. In a press statement released on his official Instagram account, the iconic singer and guitarist firmly declared that he is alive and well, attributing the “falsehood and fabricated news” to his daughter, Damilola Esther Adeniyi-Adegeye, and her associates.

The statement, dated April 28, 2025, directly addresses the claims made by Damilola and her “cohorts” regarding his being missing.

King Sunny Ade, officially known as Dr. Sunday Adeniyi-Adegeye MFR, assured his numerous fans and the general public of his well-being, expressing his gratitude for their concern and unwavering support.

In a strong tone, the Juju maestro admonished those responsible for initiating and spreading the false claims, specifically naming his daughter and her associates. King Sunny Ade further threatened legal action against any individuals or bloggers who fail to comply with this directive.
