PSG Eliminate Arsenal to Book Champions League Final Spot Against Inter Milan

Paris Saint-Germain advanced to the UEFA Champions League final on Wednesday night after defeating Arsenal 2-1 at the Parc des Princes, securing a 3-1 aggregate victory over the Premier League side.

Arsenal, trailing 1-0 from the first leg in London, came into the match with hopes of a dramatic turnaround.

Mikel Arteta’s men started brightly, showing urgency and attacking intent, but it was PSG who struck first.

In the 27th minute, Fabian Ruiz opened the scoring with a superb strike, putting the French champions in firm control of the tie.

The goal deflated the Gunners’ early momentum and forced them to chase the game under increasing pressure.

PSG had a golden opportunity to extend their lead in the 69th minute when they were awarded a penalty.

However, Vitinha failed to convert from the spot, missing a chance to put the tie beyond reach.

Bukayo Saka gave Arsenal a glimmer of hope with a goal in the 76th minute, but it proved to be only a consolation.

The match ended 2-1 in favor of PSG, with the French side progressing 3-1 on aggregate.

PSG will now face Inter Milan in what promises to be a thrilling Champions League final.

The Parisians, still chasing their first Champions League crown, will look to capitalize on their momentum as they prepare for the showdown.

For Arsenal, the loss ends their European campaign and raises questions about their readiness for the highest level of continental football, despite an impressive season under Arteta.
