I Made N70m After Celebrity Boxing Fight With Speed Darlington — Portable

Controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola Badmus, popularly known as Portable, has said that he earned N70 million from his recent celebrity boxing match against fellow celebrity Speed Darlington.

The bout concluded with a technical knockout in favor of Portable, igniting a frenzy on social media as fans reacted to the intense rivalry between the two celebrities.

According to Portable, he was initially offered N30 million as an appearance fee to accept the challenge.

After winning the match, he said he received an additional N20 million as prize money.

Following his win, Burna Boy, known to have a strained relationship with Speed Darlington, gifted Portable another N20 million after the match.

This brought Portable’s total earnings from the fight to N70 million, all within three days.

Portable said, “Them first give me N30M, make I accept say I go fight. Them come say, if I win, N20M, that’s 50. Na him uncle Burna, after I fight I beat am [Speed Darlington] I even wound am, send 20 million. I use him make N70 million around 3 days.”

The match was a culmination of a long-standing feud between Portable and Speed Darlington, which began when Speed Darlington offered Portable N500,000 to perform at his concert, an offer that Portable rejected, citing his standard performance fee of N20 million.
