Pope Leo XIV welcomed tennis men’s world number one Jannik Sinner at the Vatican on Wednesday.
While participating in the Italian Open in Rome, Sinner was accompanied by his family and the president of the Italian Tennis Federation, Angelo Binaghi.

The head of the Vatican press office stated that the Pope’s passion for tennis is well known, adding that the pontiff not only enjoys watching the sport but also loves playing it.
