EFCC Arrests 28 Suspected Internet Fraudsters in Edo

Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Benin Zonal Directorate, have arrested 28 suspected internet fraudsters in Edo State.

This was disclosed in a statement shared on the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission Facebook page on Thursday.

According to the statement, the suspects were arrested following credible intelligence that linked them to fraudulent internet activities.

Items recovered from them include five exotic cars, smartphones and laptop computers.

The EFCC noted that the suspects will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.
