Dogon Maje, a quiet community nestled in Tsafe Local Government Area of Zamfara State, was thrown into chaos on Thursday night as armed bandits launched a deadly raid, abducting several residents and leaving four others injured.
The attack, which occurred under the cover of darkness, saw the assailants storming the village in a well-coordinated assault, targeting homes and abducting both men, women, and children.
The incident has left the community in shock and fear, with many still counting the cost of the overnight horror.
Security analyst Bakatsine brought the attack to public attention in a post shared via his X (formerly Twitter) handle on Friday evening.
“Last night, bandits attacked Dogon Maje community in Tsafe LGA, Zamfara State. They injured four and abducted several people including men, women and children during the invasion,” he wrote.
