Liverpool Football Club have officially clinched the 2024/25 Premier League title, lifting the trophy in front of a jubilant Anfield crowd and capping off a dominant domestic campaign.
The Reds sealed their championship status after a 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace in their final league game on Sunday.
The visitors took an early lead through Ismaïla Sarr, who stunned the home fans with a 9th-minute strike. But Liverpool, determined not to end their title-winning season on a sour note, pressed hard and were rewarded late on when Mohamed Salah fired home the equalizer in the 84th minute.
The result was enough to confirm Liverpool’s position at the top of the table, regardless of results elsewhere.
It marked the club’s 20th top-flight title, bringing them level with Manchester United in the all-time league standings.
