Simon Guobadia’s divorce from Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Williams is costing him far more than a marriage.
The Nigerian businessman, who tied the knot with Williams just 15 months ago, is now on the losing end of a prenup dispute that has dragged through court for months.
Williams filed for divorce in February 2024, following Guobadia’s reported arrest by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), a development that delayed court hearings multiple times.
Now back in Nigeria, the 61-year-old is expected to pay heavily under the prenup terms he once tried to challenge.
According to US Weekly, Guobadia claimed he only agreed to the prenup based on Williams’ “misrepresentations” about quitting RHOA.

But the court upheld the agreement, which will now force him to “split the equity of his $7,000,000 million pre-marital home (the Marital Residence) with (Williams), and pay significant debts and expenses for the Wife’s benefit.”
The legal battle shows no signs of softening, but one thing is clear: Guobadia is walking away with less than he brought in.
Was the short-lived marriage worth the cost?
