The visit will culminate in a grand civic reception at Murtala Square, hosted by the state government.

Originally planned for Wednesday, the trip to Kaduna comes just hours after President Tinubu visited Benue State, where he assessed the aftermath of recent attacks that claimed over 200 lives and displaced hundreds.

In anticipation of the presidential visit, security was heightened across Kaduna metropolis, with temporary traffic diversions in effect on Kawo Bridge and Independence Way from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Thursday.

President Tinubu is expected to continue his tour in Nasarawa State in the coming days.
