At least 86 people were injured on Saturday following a wave of Iranian ballistic missile attacks on central Israel, as the conflict between Tehran and Jerusalem deepens amid growing regional instability.
The Israeli Health Ministry confirmed on Sunday that two of the injured remain in moderate condition, while 77 others sustained minor injuries ranging from cuts and bruises to shock-related symptoms.
An additional four individuals were treated for acute anxiety, and three others are still being assessed.
Emergency services rushed to affected areas, including Tel Aviv, where one of the missiles struck a densely populated neighborhood, damaging both residential and commercial buildings.
Footage from the scene showed shattered glass, scorched vehicles, and first responders assisting residents as smoke billowed through the streets.
Search-and-rescue teams worked through the night to clear debris and ensure there were no fatalities.
The latest strikes mark a sharp escalation in hostilities, following Iran’s vow to retaliate against Israeli and U.S. military actions earlier this month.
This is the most significant direct assault on Israeli urban centers in recent weeks, with officials warning of the likelihood of further missile launches.
