Cubana Chief Priest Drags Alleged Baby Mama Hellen Ati to Court in Kenya

Popular Nigerian nightlife promoter, Cubana Chief Priest, has taken legal action against Hellen Ati, a Kenyan woman who claims he fathered her child.

The legal dispute stems from accusations made six months ago, where Hellen alleged that Chief Priest abandoned their two-year-old son.

According to her, the child was born following a brief romantic meeting with the businessman in April 2022.

She claimed all efforts to contact him after the child’s birth failed, saying he blocked her across all platforms.

Chief Priest has denied ever meeting her.

Hellen responded by requesting a DNA test, but says he has not acknowledged the request.

On the 24th of June, 2025, a Nigerian legal expert known as DPA Family Clinic shared on Facebook that Cubana Chief Priest had filed a defamation lawsuit in Kenya.

Reacting to the suit, Hellen said in a video on Instagram: “Pascal thinks he can sue right? You know within yourself that you are supposed to be in jail by now, and you have audacity, after how many years of calling you to prove yourself innocent with a DNA test if you are sure that I’m lying against you.

“This is Kenya, my country, not Nigeria where you believe you can buy lawyers with your money or the hospital to change the DNA result. I didn’t defame you, I have only been calling you to do a paternity test but you refused. I can’t be silent by your lawsuit. I will continue to call you out until you do the needful.”

The legal standoff continues, with no public update yet on whether a DNA test has been scheduled.
