During a recent inspection at the Police Training School in Minna, the Niger State Commissioner of Police, Adamu Abdullahi Elleman, urged instructors and staff to focus on building the capacity of the 371 police recruits currently in training.
He highlighted the importance of discipline and called on the trainers to instill in the recruits a strong sense of duty and responsibility.
CP Elleman stressed that the recruits must be well-prepared to serve as responsible members of the Force.
Drawing from the impressive performance of their senior counterparts during the Police Day parade, the Commissioner encouraged the trainees to work hard, remain committed, and demonstrate unwavering loyalty.
He said they must aim to stand out in both learning and character to become intelligent and diligent officers.
“Therefore, I charge you to endure the rigours of training, remain focused, dedicated and disciplined as proper conduct is vital in the performance of duties and responsibilities as a police officer,” he emphasised.
