Nollywood actor Gideon Okeke has taken a swipe at colleague Jim Iyke over a birthday message he sent to veteran actress Kate Henshaw.
Jim Iyke’s post had drawn a range of reactions online some saw it as harmless banter, while others felt it was laced with sarcasm and disrespect.
Gideon didn’t hold back in his response. He accused Jim Iyke of being arrogant and self-absorbed, saying the tone of the message was wrong, especially considering Henshaw’s status in the industry.

In his post, Gideon said: “Somebody take a look at this ‘motherfukka’ over here. It’s the narcissistic effrontery for me. Such a bone head. I wonder who puts these people in check. It’s this kinda rubbish behaviour that people condone, that gives other people the balls to be the actual pri*ks that they are… in real life. Talk anyhow in public. Tueh.”
His reaction stirred fresh debate on social media, with users now split, some backing his criticism, others insisting Jim Iyke’s post was misunderstood.
