Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC, Uyo Zonal Directorate, have arrested 14 suspected internet fraudsters at different locations in Akwa Ibom State.
They were arrested at Afaha Offot, Ikot Atuen, Abak, and Nwaniba areas of the State through an intelligence- driven sting operation.
The Commission disclosed this in a statement shared on its Facebook page on Tuesday night.

Items recovered from the suspects are 19 mobile phones and three laptops.
The EFCC noted that the suspects will be charged to court after investigations.
