The Iyaloja-General of Nigeria, Folasade Tinubu-Ojo, has paid glowing tribute to the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, on the occasion of her 65th birthday.
In a statement personally signed and released on Sunday, Tinubu-Ojo described the First Lady as “the mother of the nation,” praising her dedication to public service, grassroots empowerment, and advocacy for women and children.
“I celebrate my beloved mother, the mother of the nation; a distinguished Senator, and the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria: Her Excellency, Distinguished Senator Oluremi Tinubu (OON, CON), on her 65th birthday,” the Iyaloja-General said.
She lauded the First Lady’s unwavering commitment to women and youth development, adding that her life of impact continues to inspire Nigerians.

Tinubu-Ojo, who leads Lagos market men and women, also prayed for her mother’s long life, prosperity, and good health.
Oluremi Tinubu, a three-term senator representing Lagos Central before becoming First Lady in 2023, has been recognised for her philanthropic interventions. Through the Renewed Hope Initiative, she has launched programmes to support women, youths, and vulnerable groups across the country.
Her husband, President Bola Tinubu, had earlier described her as his confidant, counsellor, and steady anchor as he joined in celebrating her milestone.
