Turkish Super Lig giants, Beşiktaş, have announced Wilfred Ndidi as the club’s new vice-captain.
The club confirmed the appointment in an official statement released on its website on Friday, noting that Orkun Kökçü will serve as the team’s new captain.
Ndidi, who joined the Black Eagles during the summer transfer window from English side Leicester City, has quickly established himself as a key figure in the squad.

The 28-year-old midfielder has featured in six league matches so far this season, earning praise for his leadership and consistency on the pitch.
Beşiktaş will hope Ndidi’s influence can inspire the team as they prepare to face Gençlerbirliği in their upcoming Turkish Super Lig clash on Saturday.
