Music superstar Davido has made Akwa Ibom State the first stop on the Nigerian leg of his global tour, marking a historic moment for the State’s growing reputation as a hub for entertainment and tourism.
Governor Umo Eno, in a statement posted on his official X handle on Monday, expressed appreciation to the award-winning artiste for choosing Akwa Ibom as the tour’s Nigerian debut venue. The concert, which took place on Sunday night, drew massive crowds and showcased the State’s readiness to host world-class events.
According to Governor Eno, Davido described Akwa Ibom as a standout destination because of its world-class facilities, peace, and exceptional hospitality. The governor quoted the music icon as saying that “everything about the State is beautiful,” further affirming Akwa Ibom’s growing reputation for safety and modern infrastructure.
