Nigerian striker Paul Onuachu has been named Turkish Süper Lig Player of the Month for October 2025, with the announcement made on Wednesday, November5, 2025.
The 31‑year-old striker scored two goals and provided one assist in three league matches, helping Trabzonspor remain unbeaten with two wins and a draw.
He edged out eight other nominees, including Marco Asensio, Rafa Silva, Milan Skriniar, Andre Onana, Orkun Kokcu, Ederson Moraes, Wilfred Singo, and Davinson Sanchez, to claim the prestigious award.
Onuachu returned to Trabzonspor on a permanent transfer in July 2025 following a successful loan spell.
This season, he has already tallied seven goals and one assist in 11 league appearances and has twice won the Goal of the Month award for acrobatic strikes.

The towering forward’s resurgence follows a difficult stint at Southampton in the English Premier League, where he scored four goals in a relegation season.
He previously enjoyed a prolific period at Genk in Belgium, scoring 79 league goals in 114 appearances.
Onuachu’s current form is helping Trabzonspor push higher in the Süper Lig standings while strengthening his case for continued involvement with the Nigeria national team ahead of upcoming qualifiers.
