Rauf Aregbesola, National Secretary of the African Democratic Congress, has sharply criticised the All Progressives Congress-led federal government, claiming it has failed Nigerians across key sectors including the economy, security, and governance.
Speaking on Tuesday, November 25, in Osogbo, Osun State, during the ADC’s high-profile unveiling, the former Osun State governor warned that the APC’s dominance is nearing its end.
“God has left the present government, and even the government at the centre. They used to rig elections, we know their tactics,” Aregbesola said, addressing a large crowd of supporters.
He urged voters to reject the APC in the 2027 elections and highlighted the importance of respecting women at polling stations:

“Ahead of the next election, start taking good care of women, who are no longer of childbearing age.
“On the day of the poll, give them new clothes, and let them sit in a group of 10 per polling booth and leave the rest to God.
“Those in government now tried their best, but God is not with them because they didn’t start with God. They are selfish.
“They started with ’emi’ (me), instead of ’awa’(us). They have been disgraceful in all sectors, in the economy, security, governance, and others,” he added in Yoruba.
