Nollywood actress and philanthropist, Tonto Dikeh, has stirred widespread public reaction after sharing an emotional and deeply reflective message via her Instagram page on Saturday, signalling what appears to be a reconciliation with her ex-husband, Olakunle “Churchill” Oladunni.
The post, which was accompanied by a photo of Churchill, marked a notable shift in a relationship that has, for years, been defined by public disputes, legal battles, and bitter exchanges. In the lengthy message, Dikeh reflected on what she described as a decade-long season of pain, broken communication, and emotional wounds, crediting divine intervention for the apparent restoration.
“We are living proof that the Word of God is eternal and unfailing,” the actress wrote, describing the reconciliation as a spiritual process rather than a human achievement. According to her, what once seemed “ugly, impossible, and beyond repair” had been transformed through mercy, humility, prayer, and faith.
Dikeh emphasised that the healing was “not by might, not by wisdom, not by strength — but by the Spirit of the Lord,” noting that peace had replaced chaos and respect had returned where anger once thrived. She also acknowledged the role of her child’s prayers, describing them as sincere and powerful.
In a rare public gesture, the actress expressed gratitude to Churchill for “yielding to God’s word and choosing peace,” acknowledging that obedience and humility were key to the healing process, even when the journey was long and painful.
“This miracle is called 10 years in one day,” she wrote, portraying the development as a profound personal testimony.

While neither party explicitly confirmed a renewed romantic relationship, the tone of the message strongly suggests a reconciliation or, at the very least, a renewed commitment to peace and unity, particularly in co-parenting their child.
Dikeh concluded her post by encouraging others facing similar struggles not to lose hope, assuring them that restoration is possible and that “God does not abandon what He has started.”
As of the time of filing this report, Churchill has not publicly responded, but the post has continued to generate intense reactions across social media, with many Nigerians describing it as a moment of healing, maturity, and grace.
