Streamer Peller Drops Out Of University Two Days After Resumption

Nigerian streamer and content creator Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, has withdrawn from university barely two days after resuming academic activities, saying the classroom routine does not align with his current priorities.

Peller made his position known in a voice note that began circulating widely on social media on Tuesday, January 27, 2026.

In the recording, he expressed frustration over spending several hours in lectures without earning income, describing the experience as draining and unproductive.

He said sitting in class for long periods to write and listen, without financial gain, was not something he was prepared to continue, adding that he would rather focus on his streaming career.

Peller also suggested that he may only consider returning to formal education much later in life, possibly in his 30s or 40s.

The content creator further noted that many of his classmates appeared significantly older, a situation he said reinforced his decision to step away from school for now.

He concluded the message by stating that he was exhausted by the classroom environment and needed a break, stressing that he has no intention of returning to university in the near future.

Peller’s decision comes shortly after he publicly announced his admission into a private university in Lagos State earlier this month, making his withdrawal one of the shortest university stints to attract public attention in recent times.
