Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, has downplayed claims by Liam Rosenior that members of his coaching staff acted disrespectfully during pre-match warm-ups, saying the club had already apologised and that such incidents are common in football.
Arteta was reacting to comments by Rosenior, who alleged that Arsenal staff encroached into his team’s warm-up area before the match, an action he described as disruptive and disrespectful. Rosenior raised the issue publicly after the game.
Speaking on Friday, as reported by Sky Sports, Arteta said the matter had been resolved.
“We apologise and that’s it. It’s very common in football,” the Arsenal manager said.

Arteta played down the significance of the incident, noting that minor confrontations and misunderstandings often occur in highly competitive environments and should not be overstated.
Rosenior had earlier voiced his displeasure over the conduct, saying it went against football etiquette, but clarified that his criticism was aimed at the staff involved and not the Arsenal players.
The incident has generated discussion about professionalism and respect during pre-match activities, though Arteta indicated that Arsenal are keen to move on and concentrate on their upcoming fixtures.
