Enugu Police Nab Man With Large Haul Of Illicit Drugs

The Enugu State Police Command has arrested a 42-year-old man, Musa Zuberu, for alleged involvement in illicit drug peddling in the state.

The command’s spokesperson, Daniel Ndukwe, said in a statement on Thursday, February 12, that Zuberu was apprehended on February 11, 2026, at about 1:40 pm during a routine patrol along Camp 1, Iva Valley, by operatives attached to the Crack Tactical Squad.

“A search of the suspect led to the recovery of a large quantity of weed suspected to be marijuana, including the synthetic ‘Canadian Loud’ and ‘Colorado’ (‘Colos’) variants, as well as other quantities of suspected illicit drugs,” Ndukwe said.

He added that investigations are ongoing to apprehend the suspect’s accomplices and dismantle illicit drug peddling networks across the state.
