Gunmen Kill Port Harcourt Event CEO Mina Orupabo In Targeted Attack

Tragedy has struck in Port Harcourt following the killing of prominent event planner, Mina Orupabo, the Chief Executive Officer of Special Bensington Ushers, widely known as Special B Ushers.

According to reports, the incident occurred on Thursday evening at about 7:40 p.m. around Kingoliza Hall on Total Gospel Road in Port Harcourt.

Mina was said to be on her way to an event venue for a routine pre-event inspection when unidentified gunmen attacked and opened fire on her.

Eyewitness accounts indicate that her driver and another individual who accompanied her at the time managed to escape the attack unhurt. Mina, however, sustained critical injuries and was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital.

Despite efforts by medical personnel to save her life, she succumbed to her injuries two days later, leaving family, friends, and the events community in shock and mourning.

Security agencies have since commenced an investigation into the killing, with efforts underway to identify and apprehend those responsible for the attack.

The tragic incident has sparked renewed concerns over security in the area, as residents await further updates from authorities on the development.
