Gombe NNPP Chairman Kabir Makko Resigns Party Membership

Kabir Makko, the Gombe State chairman of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), has stepped down from his role and exited the party.

He conveyed the decision in a resignation letter addressed to the NNPP Chairman of Akko Ward.

Makko stated that he is leaving both his membership of the party and his leadership position within the Gombe State chapter.

He fixed his exit date as the 23rd of March, 2026.

Makko said, “By this resignation, I also relinquish my position as the Gombe State Party Chairman. This decision has been made after careful political consideration.”

He expressed appreciation to party members and stakeholders for their support during his time in office.
He also confirmed that copies of the letter were sent to the NNPP National Chairman.
