Nigerian forward Victor Boniface has returned to German club SV Werder Bremen after spending the past three months on the sidelines recovering from a knee injury.
The striker, who has been out of action since sustaining the setback, has now rejoined his club base in Bremen and is expected to begin an individualized training program as part of his recovery plan.
Club sources indicate that Boniface will work separately from the main squad initially before gradually being reintegrated into full team training sessions.
